I need to know if they can play on cracked servers.
will they like get blocked from retail cod4 or something bad?

i have been playing on cracked servers since the very first Call Of Duty with legit copies of the games and i have never have any sort of problem in regards to playing on a legit or cracked server, none whatsoever.

no, if you are running 1.6 u will only be able to connect to servers running 1.6
