in-game chat is not showing

ever since i changed those settings that snakedoc said, i cant see my own or other people's chat. it's no fun without chat, help anyone?

well could it be that you are trying to talk when dead or maybe to the other team when you are dead. You do know that we do not allow dead chat. I also believe that it does it when in spect as well I am not 100% on that one i dont really sit on the server much

i was talking to him in chat and teamchat and he couldnt see us talking nor him but we could see his chat... weird

yeah so it sounds as if the screen is zoomed in? like the part where the Chat is is not visible due to the screen being zoomed in

it's none of the above, it pops up when i press t and i can see me self typing, but when i press enter, nothing will show up it's very annoying gonna put the settings back

well i dont think those settings wud affect the chat, maybe u type some other setting that messed it up,

you can delete your config_mp.cfg file it shud work.
its found in you profile folder.
