yeah well, you can argue that. i do believe in the fact that government keep people stupid, no matter where in the world. i bet you right, if you have a tv channel, and you have a program on it, and if you say, who ever calls us, is stupid, people will call and say no we are not stupid, and that&#39;s exactly the point, people are stupid and they dont like to believe that fact, so it gets worse. in britain, or US, some people actually think that UK and US went to iraq to HELP people and stop terrorism, fucking hell, how dumb is that? so yeah, it is the government, but really people can step up, i studided about the revoulution in iran, some 20 something years ago, it was basically whats happening now, people stepped up and they changed the way their country was being governed, not suggesting it&#39;s now better or worse, but it shows the strenghts of normal people

I agree whole heartedly. I was born and raised in the USA and have never met people like this. However, every society has a certain strata of dumbasses, and this Brit seems to have found a good layer of American idiots. And you can mention George Bush all you want. His brand (and the Republican brand) of politics is dying in this country. The reason president elect Obama won is that college educated Americans voted overwhelmingly in his favor (college grads make up 25% of our population).
