why people like cod2 instead of the latest cod4 or MW2

Well its just what I think...

when I was playing cod2 before MW2 came out, they were complaining how cod4 was crap and they don't play it cause its a noobs game when in fact, cod2 is a noobs game, anyone can take a kar98k rifle or snipers and shoot someone easily without aiming, tried it, I think because it so easy to kill with the rifle, just 1 shot, people still play cod2.

Try shooting someone in cod4 or MW2 with a sniper from a far without aiming lol even with steady aim :P

although there is the noob tube which alot of people hate in cod4 and MW2, might be one of the main reason people hate cod4 and still play cod2, personally I hate it too but I got to cope with it, especially when you have to use it to get the shotgun attachment which is very kool

shit to be honest Taliban if people told me they would play CODUO i would go back to that. That game had it all vehicles tanks weapons and enough room to move.

only time I played cod2 was when I got bored of cod4 and not many people were on the server...

but since MW2 came out, havent played cod2 or cod4

I miss the cracked community but this game is so addictive lol

dunno yet about mw2 multiplayer but I have no idea why someone would actually rather play cod2 than cod4. Cod4 is far much better than cod2. Much more possibilities and such, better graphix,... plus the fact i cant live without mp5 lol, i really missed it when i played cod waw for some weeks.
And about the tubes, yea they are annoying, but mostly ppl who use them cant aim so you kill them before they tube. Pain in the ass is when ppl who actually can aim uses them... Yea i am talking about an ops lol (though i forgot who was it)

edit: I havent played cod2 either after cod4 came out.

I meant in cod4 but i think he used it back then too, little bastard lol

yea me too, didnt really like it. The fun was gone after two weeks, which is shitty cuz cod4 kept me addicted for months.

Well in my opinion Cod 2 was a great game and one that required skills in order for you to play it and do good and Taliban i respect your opinion but i disagree completely, shooting with the Kark98/Lee-enfield/Mosing-Nagant is hard, bolt action riflles are indeed one shot kill for the most part but its hard when the rest is using machine guns. i do agree that sniping is a lot easier on Cod 2.
Modern Warfare is the perfect game, they really made that game thinking about everything and made it really balanced but with MW2 they kinda messed the balance up, the game looks great and it does have new weapons and perks and a revamped ranking system but they are all kinda broken and this game was made with the Console noob in mind,dont agree, well lets see, shotguns that have a range for more that 75 feet, unlimited re-supply of nades-missiles for the RPG or javelin-nades for the noob tube with the right combination of perks, speed that makes the character look like fucking flash, a knife attack that has hilarious range, sighs that can practically see thru walls, and thats just to name a few things, now take all that and throw in IWNet and we have a really noob friendly game.
i wish someone ports the killstreaks from MW 2 to MW, if they do i would not play MW 2 and rather play MW

i didt play cod2 when it came out, i played it after i played cod4 and honestly it's much easier!

i totaly agree with every thing you said, the kar and enfield without the scope are not for noobs in cod2, only the elite dare to use them.

mw and mw2 are great games, the only thing that spoilt mw2 is the inability to facilitate a community. thats why we never get to play a game together. how sad

you must be kidding, shooting with a kar is way too easy, its always one shot one kill (or you missed). You dont have to steady or anything just aim near the target and click bam he's dead.
