Can I ask
1. "mssmp3.asi" was deleted by you?
2. "mssmp3.asi" was renamed to "..."?
3. the error msg was thrown when clicking "Open" or "Apply"?

I renamed my mssmp3.asi to mssmp3.asi.disabled

clicking apply does this




oh btw the splash screen option doesnt do anything...

The splash screen and logo refer to .bmp files within the COD dir, they are used at start up. The splash.bmp is displayed while COD is loaded.
It has been reported to save load time (2 seconds lol) with these files disabled

dam i lost it too, but I dont need it, once i changed my settings in the config file then thats it, no need to change anything more.

Well good for you! this doesn't help me now. I put MW2 on my laptop and I was trying to tone it down a little, so it might run better and smoother. I really don't play on the laptop much just once in awhile. So this link is no good anymore?

Sol you do not need the program to do it just edit the file yourself it is not hard

as for the link not sure it was not our program i was just linking to another site and as i said up top you do not need the program to open your config file and do it your self just a little more time like 2 minutes more

This may be it just for your sol being i guess you can not use google lol click here this should be it but as we said already instead of installing a program to do it all you have to do is read the first post and Taliban tells you how to do it
