Admin's Please Read

With the growning number of players on the server and of course the amount of hacking that we will get with this I wanted to take a minute and let everyone know who the actaul admins of the servers are. We do have many admins and if I miss any please IM me on Xfire and I will add you here to the list. But with this new Admin power i do ask a few things and I will list them here as well. Being with we do not want this power to goto your head and just start kicking anyone. We are trusting that the admins will use good judgement and not just kick a person because they are a better player then them.

===RULES FOR ADMINS TO FELLOW===

1. Never and I mean never kick or banned [INF] [-X-] [-S7-] [Ops]PLAYERS.
2. NEVER change the basic settings or map rotation it screws up the server.
3. If you want a new rotation build it and send to SnakeDoc he will add it.
4. NEVER NEVER TURN CHEATS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Back to just kicking a player for joke do not it will temp ban them and that is no fun.
6. Always use best judgement when banning, ask another jointops member to watch 2 sets of eyes are better.
7. Ask them to stop hacking or talking ,if they still don't ban no second chances.
8. Last but not lease YOU ARE NOT THE BEST PLAYER OUT THERE REMEMBER THAT!!!!
9. All Admin's Most Be In JointOps Community
10. Never Give password out if they ask tell them to talk to a group leader of one of the 3 clan's. If that leader feel's you should have it then you will get it.

If i have missed any please as i said IM me on Xfire or leave a post here and I will add you. But as you can see we do have alot of admins and I can pretty much say a Admin is on most of the time. So from now on stop the bitching about hackers and start using the admins. We are here.


I have made a few thing's bold up top is the reason why the rcon has been changed. If you feel as a admin you have not done any of these thing's and you contact your group leader's being INF X S7 and they feel you should have the rcon password for the server then you will get it. Please all admin's unless you are a direct leader do not give out this password. I am sorry I have to do this being that alot of thing's have been done when at the time of setting this post up month's ago about the admin's I listed 8 thing's that should not be done. And from what I have seen and been IM'ed about they have been done.

RCON setting changes will screw the server up. You have 2 cfg files one in the main folder and one in player profile folder. The server when started call's on the main cfg but after it is running it call's on the player cfg so after every map rotate it call's on the server player cfg but after a reboot it call's on the main cfg. Now being we are a cracked server that player cfg let me say hardcoded into the server. So if you start changing thing's there with rcon and such the next time I restart the server it will cause error's in the cfg files that are mismatched. Unless i delete the player cfg every time i restart the server. So what happen's is basic settings you think will not cause trouble will cause thing's like air strike's not to have a good effect or kill people. Bomb Plant's will not work right and so on. See the RCON tool only change's the player cfg not the main cfg that is used for restart's. Oh a none cracked server it will clear out the player cfg after every restart unlike a cracked server. I just did not want to have to explain it to every one i figured it was just a bit easier to ask the admin' not change server setting's with rcon. Because some people will not under stand what I am saying here or I may not explane it correctly

I am done with the post finally. Fiery you are a good admin I only seen you do one thing's that i ask you not to before and that was number 4 up top but that was only to mess with the gravity. What the server call's cheat's are not the same as hack's. I know this so I wanted to point that out before some one read's this and think's it was a hack setting. You have basic setting's in a server like gravity that you can adjust but cheat's have to be turned on to use them.

I remember that day. It was on the secondary server and it was only us 3 and it was fun. But I won't do it again, ever.

not my business anymore but age has nothing to do with maturity

and on behave of Fiery, he is doing fine, when he is about to kick someone or banned he asks for permission unless its and obvious hacker or something like that
