that's right Medal Of Honor is set to come back and steal COD fans, the original game the IW team created before it was taken by EA is said to be working on a new MOH title. And may be released in 2010
I can remember MOHAA was first WW MP FPS around and it rocked, from MOHAA's success all the other games started to come out, recently AirBorne came out but INF and X were not interested although the game was pretty decent. MOH want to take away COD fans by providing them with what IW couldn't and by making their new series MODERN!
I read something recent on DigitalSpy but cant find it, so il post it when i find it mean heres some old news.

Modern Warfare 2 (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/36434/Activision-UK-ships-in-3m-MW2-to-satisfy-demand) isn’t the only slice of non-historical conflict that games consumers will enjoy in the next few months: MCV understands that the next iteration in EA’s Medal Of Honor series will be set in the current day.
A reliable industry source told MCV this week that “it’s a new take on the modern warfare idea – and will really help give the series the kick up the arse it needs”.
An EA spokesperson said that the firm had nothing to add to Monday's confirmation of a new Medal Of Honor (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/36436/Medal-of-Honor-to-return) game from its Q2 earnings call.
The last Medal Of Honor titles to be release in Europe were MOH: Airborne (PS3, 360, PC) and MOH: Heroes 2 (PSP, Wii)
MCV understands that the new title is expected to be released in February/March 2010 on 360, PS3 and PC – with an announcement due before Christmas.

There are a lot of first person shooter franchises out there, as it is a very popular genre and many people want to experience just what it is like to enter a battlefield and try to turn the tide in your favor and eventually win the battle.
One of the most proficient franchises in the genre is Electronic Arts (http://news.softpedia.com/news/Digital-Distribution-Is-Crucial-for-Electronic-Arts-114548.shtml)' Medal of Honor series, which has entertained people through various recreations of famous World War II scenarios. But even though it has a lot of fans around the world, things have gotten quiet in regard to a new project.
We've even heard EA boss John Riccitiello say that he doesn't have anything to say (http://news.softpedia.com/news/EA-Boss-Doesn-039-t-Talk-About-New-Medal-of-Honor-Game-118764.shtml) about a new MoH project. But now, thanks to an inside source at EA Los Angeles, which has handled the development of the series, we have found out some big details on the fabled MoH: Operation Anaconda project and how Six Days in Fallujah completely changed it.
Our source has revealed that Operation Anaconda was set to be based on the mission that happened in Afghanistan in March 2002, and was proposed by Patrick Gilmore, who thought that reality could be better than fiction in this case. A lot of consultants were brought in and the project really took off thanks to input from former Delta commanders and documentary directors which have had first hand combat experience.
But sadly the controversy surrounding Konami's Six Days in Fallujah appeared and people were starting to militate against such a thing, saying that the war was still fresh in the minds of many people and the memory of fallen soldiers couldn't be honored through video games (http://news.softpedia.com/news/New-Medal-of-Honor-Game-Set-for-Release-in-Summer-2010-119421.shtml#).
It is at this point that EA became worried and fired Patrick Gilmore, replacing him with Greg Goodrich. The project is now taking a different route, which will base it in a fictional scenario. Also, the large company went to great lengths and did a lot of focus testing with Muslim and Middle Eastern audiences in order to be sure that it wouldn't be offensive in any way.
The title will still keep its pro-soldier and pro-military traits though, as many soldiers and active officers have been brought in to test it in order for the feel of the battles to be as true as possible to the real thing.
Lastly, our source confirmed that it would be released in summer 2010 from EA LA and published by EA.
