Modern Warfare 2 will undoubtedly be one of the biggest release for any of the platform that it'll be hitting this November. While it's been announced that there will be a massive onslaught of Call of Duty releases on November 10, UK site Electronic Theatre claims that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 has been pushed back by two weeks.
The website does not cite the source for its information, meaning we're still skeptical. The report does specify that the delay only affects the PC version and not the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions, and perhaps due to manufacturing constraints. Of course, with a publisher as large as Activision-Blizzard, DVD replication shouldn't be a concern.
The original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, however, was pirated on a massive scale on P2P networks, perhaps providing a slight reason for why the console versions should lead the PC release just enough to catch the first round of "gotta have it" sales.
Expect an official debunking or confirmation of this delay-talk very soon.
